Documenting art projects, exhibitions, cultural events and portraying artists for web and television.

James Simon Gallery

Within our web documentary series BEHIND THE SCENES for Staatliche Museen zu Berlin we accompanied Urs Vogt from David Chipperfield Architects on the working ground of the upcoming James Simon Gallery to get a sneak peak of the future entrance to Berlins Museum Island.

In order to make the amazing work of the conservators visible for the visitors, Staatsgalerie Stuttgart and Wüstenrot Stiftung created the “Schauatelier” – a transparent conservation studio. To introduce this project we produced an exclusiv 10 minutes documentation about the specialists and their work.

Christian Boltanski

We’re shooting a documentary portrait about artist Christian Boltanski for SR/ARTE.
Here is a first glimpse of the project aired on occasion of the opening of his forced labour memorial in Völklingen.

Client: SR/ARTE

Festival of Future Nows

We documented the complete second edition of the Festival of Future Nows at Hamburger Bahnhof, from preparing the festival to the installations and celebrating the opening events. The cooperation between Nationalgalerie – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and Olafur Eliasson and his Institut für Raumexperimente e.V. brought together more than 100 international artists.

We documented Michael Sailstorfers exhibition and followed the making of his installation from the preparations in his studio in Berlin to the renowned KÖNIG gallery space.

Art 4 All

We are accompanying and documenting the “Art 4 All” cooperation by Volkswagen AG and Nationalgalerie – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, which offers free admission to Hamburger Bahnhof on the first Thursday of every month between 4 and 8 pm. In addition to the permanent collection and current exhibitions, it offers an interdisciplinary program of lectures, artist talks, performances and guided tours.

The Transit of Hermes

For the Documenta 14 artist Ross Birrell did a literal and metaphorical journey. In his artwork “The Transit of Hermes” he explores the possibility of riding by horse from Athens to Kassel, connecting the two cities of documenta 14. We documented his ride from the beginning all the way to the finishing line.

Ancien Régime 2016

Artists Markus Lüpertz & Andreas Mühe join opposed forces: photography against painting. For Volkswagen Group Culture we documented the installation of the exhibition at Kunsthalle Rostock.

Artist of The Year

Since 2013 we are accompanying the “Artist of the Year” programme of Deutsche Bank and produced portraits of the internationally acclaimed artists Imran Qureshi, Koki Tanaka, Basim Magdy, Victor Man, Kemang Wa Lehulere and Caline Aoun.
